Officekeeping Tip

Have you ever received a late notice in the mail from your electricity company informing you that if you don’t pay now you can say bye-bye to your lights?

Where is that electricity bill? Yes, you received it and put it on your desk next to your computer to be paid, but ooooops… you found the original bill when the company kindly reminded you in the form of a late fee and threat. How do you prevent a scene like this from happening (again)?

Go through any stacks of paper sitting on or around your desk. What needs your immediate attention and what can you throw away, recycle, or file?

Make it your goal this week to start a new habit of decluttering your desk space. If this area is organized, you will not only work with a peace of mind but also produce better results. Who knows, it may inspire you to finally do something with those clothes on your bedroom floor!
