As small business owners we all want to save money. If we can help the environment in the process, it’s a huge bonus. The following tips will help you do both– save you money and help the environment!
1. Recycle paper
2. When printing, use both sides
3. Write on scrap paper
4. BYOB- Bring your own bag when shopping for office supplies
5. Eliminate the plastic trash bags that line your wastebasket
6. Lights- turn them off when out of the room and whenever there is sufficient natural lighting
7. Unplug electronic devices not in use
8. Refill ink cartridges instead of buying new ones
9. Save gas- organize errands and meetings with clients so you make fewer trips
10. Pay your bills online and receive statements electronically
Thanks for helping the environment!
