Doing something when you feel like doing nothing

There are days when I don’t feel like doing much of anything.
If I worked in an office, I’d have to be there but I might be able to get away with pushing papers around my desk to look busy. As an entrepreneur, my choice is limited. It’s either all or nothing.
We’re all bound to have days where we don’t feel like doing much of anything. It’s called life. The real test, however, is how you deal with this as a small business owner.
On those days when you don’t feel like doing much of anything, you have two choices:
1. Take a step back and rest.As a self-employed Entrepreneur Goddess, nobody is forcing you to show your face in the office, wherever that might be. You create your own agenda. But, if you decide to make time for yourself or nothing on a Wednesday afternoon, be sure you consult with your agenda first. This option is only viable if you have no outstanding tasks to perform or customers to entice. Use caution and lots of discipline with this choice. It’s not necessarily a negative decision and can have actually have a very positive effect on your business growth. Just don’t make it a regular habit. 2. Persevere by creating a space.
Sometimes you really feel like doing nothing but your schedule tells you otherwise. That Wednesday afternoon of R&R is not going to happen, no matter how hard you wish upon your shooting star screen saver. This, my fellow female entrepreneurs, is the true test of entrepreneurship. It’s called perseverance. You feel tired, groggy, or simply out of your usual self and don’t feel like doing a thing…yet you plug along. You do this by separating yourself from the inside voice that cries I don’t want to be doing this now and you create a space which allows you to glide through the moment.
Wishing you success,

Lush in a Rush: Perfect Makeup for Entrepreneurs

I have finally discovered the perfect makeup for women entrepreneurs.
While browsing the makeup aisle, I came across the first certified organic makeup line in the United States! Organic wear by Physicians Formula is available in stores across the country.
Organic wear is a great makeup line for women entrepreneurs because it’s decently priced (around the same price as average over-the-counter makeup brands), readily available (in case you forget your eyeliner on a business trip), and goes on light
(exactly what a business owner needs). If you’re seeking the perfect makeup for your debut on Broadway, you’ve got the wrong makeup because this stuff will not do the trick.Environmental reasons to buy Organic wear:
-Eco conscious compact: 93% less plastic than a regular compact.
-100% free of harsh chemicals (this will save you business meeting embarrassment)
-100% free of GMOs
-100% cruelty free (no cute and fuzzy animals harmed in the making of these products)
Here’s what I bought and what I think:
light over liquid foundation. Doesn’t cake. The look is fresh and natural. It feels as though I’m not wearing any makeup. If you have no blemishes and want a super light look, try alone without liquid foundation.
Blush: I bought the darkest Organic wear blush I could find and it hardly looks like I’m wearing any blush at all. I tend to like highlighting my cheekbones a bit more so it’s a bit of a disappointment to have to put on layer after layer to create an effect. I think the brush is made out of goat hair, but I sometimes prefer using my old blush brush, which works better.
Unfortunately for me, the store I went to wasn’t carrying my liquid foundation color, so I brought the Talc-Free Mineral Liquid Foundation. I’m sure there must be a few harsh chemicals in the makeup, but overall I’m very pleased. I love the built-in sponge!
