About
Katie Skow / Entrepreneur Goddess
Entrepreneur Goddess is a creative lifestyle blog.
It’s the story of a woman who sent out an unbelievable amount of resumes and even interviewed with potential employers, yet couldn’t find a job despite her experience.
Companies simply weren’t hiring. Top economic decision makers became firing squads and heartlessly turned offices across the country into pink slip cubicles of hell. Unemployment offices around the country became the scene of gruesome tear baths.
The economy, as we knew it, was in shambles and few were actually hiring. Nobody would hire this Goddess.
That happened 3 years ago.
She was frustrated and all the rejection had brought her self-esteem to an all-time low. One day, while red-eyed and licking her wounds, it dawned on her… Screw ‘em all!
And that was that. She lifted her chin off the ground and held it high to the sky while yanking the invisible tail out from under her legs.
If nobody would help her, she would. And so she decided to change her life. She became the Entrepreneur Goddess and created her own lifestyle, her way.
If she couldn’t get a job, she’d create one… or more.
The Goddess and her husband created a Spanish-language exercise video because they realized there weren’t any exercise videos, in Spanish, focused on that highly sought after asset, the butt. They called it Pompilates® (translation: butt pilates) and Hispanics like it.
In an effort to be a true serial entrepreneur, she also created a media company in which she and the hubby help other small businesses with website design, video, and social media.
Creatively creating her own lifestyle has been a very good move and she has no major grievances.
While her creative lifestyle is fun and everything, she’s always seeking the next grand challenge… so expect the unexpected.
Would Entrepreneur Goddess ever go back to work for ‘The Man’ again? Perhaps. Never say never, but this time the tables would be turned. They would have to convince her why she should work for them. Negotiations would ensue and employer concessions would have to be made.
Entrepreneur Goddess has gumption. It’s her life and she has creative control, after all.
And she’s writing all about it right here on Entrepreneur Goddess dot com.
